Our work began in 1991 based on pivotal research, finding that thriving rural communities are not distinguished by their natural resources, but by the calibre of their leaders.

It is the human capacity for advocacy, vision and local stewardship that determines a region’s future. We do not look to provide the solutions for rural issues. We build the people capable of finding them.

Ready leadership is the result of an intentional and rigorous process that builds capabilities and capacity.

We do not look to provide the solutions for rural issues. We build the people capable of finding them. Currently this includes our work with the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal to address the challenge of drought resilience and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority to tackle the complex water security issues facing the Basin.

Through immersive and rigorous experiential leaning experiences we challenge, bond and ignite participants.

Ours is an unwavering, daily commitment to ensuring that when the inevitable occurs, the leaders required to find solutions are already in place.

The need for rural leadership remains as critical as ever

Rural, regional and remote Australia remains under-represented in national policy and continues to bear the heaviest burden of both natural and man-made disasters.

While we have developed a growing network of more than 3000 impactful leaders, the gap between the challenges we face and the representation we deserve remains.

Your support helps emerging leaders from rural areas access high-quality leadership development, irrespective of industry or postcode, that they may not otherwise be able to afford or reach.

These participants return to their communities with new skills, broader networks and renewed confidence to tackle local challenges, ensuring that rural communities benefit from diverse, capable leaders who are equipped to drive positive, long-term change where it matters most.
